The New Shuttle: Yellow Route Overview

  • The Yellow Route is operated by the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA).

  • It runs from Friday to Sunday. It will be operating from 28 November 2025 until the end of April 2026.

  • The shuttle connects Al Jazirah Al Hamr, Marjan Island, and Jebel Jais. Effectively bridging the coast/beach resorts with the mountains.

  • Easier for hotel guests, residents, and visitors to enjoy a Jebel Jais tour without needing a private car or taxi service.

  • You can track your ride using the RAKTA Sayr app.
  • Buses are equipped with air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and support electronic payments & real-time.

Timings & Frequency

  • Operating days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only.

  • First departure6:00 AM from Al Jazirah Al Hamra.

  • Last return departure from Jebel Jais: 9:00 PM.

  • Frequency: Roughly every 3 hours.
