The Trails Are Getting Better

From October, trail crews move onto the mountain, tired old markers come down and clearer signage goes up. Expect to see us out there this season.

Walk It Your Way

The trails are open to the public and you do not need a guide to walk them. Go independently whenever you like, or book a guided experience if you would rather have one. The Hidden Oasis is where the work starts, so it is where you will see our teams first.

From October

Better Trails & New Signposts

Professional trail builders are improving width, grade and rock crossings, plus new interlinking trails, while clearer wayfinding goes in at the junctions where people actually get lost, kept low-impact on purpose. Look out for our team on the trail, they carry a QR code for the latest map. Some sections may be busy while the work goes in.

Renewed Signage Points, Coming Soon

A map of the renewed signage points is on its way. It will show the locations of every new and temporary sign across the mountain trails, so you can see where to expect guidance before you set off. The first confirmed locations come from the mountain team in mid-October.

Talk To The Team Who Know The Mountain

Guided walks, the Via Ferrata and group bookings all run through the camp on Jebel Jais.

Every experience can be curated. If you have something specific in mind around group size, duration or the days that suit you, get in touch. It does not have to be one of the fixed packages, and the team will build the walk around your group.

Seasonality

The best time to hike Jebel Jais is from October to April, when daytime temperatures are cooler and mountain flora begins to bloom. Avoid mid-day hikes during warmer seasons and always check weather conditions before starting your journey.
