Jais Ropes Course

Get your adrenaline rushing at a new obstacle maze on the UAE’s highest mountain! Find your sense of adventure 10 meters above the ground as you navigate through several obstacles including rope swings, wobbly bridges, swinging loops and so much more! With two levels of endless fun, the Jais Ropes Course is suitable for adventure seekers of all ages.

Meeting Place
Your Jebel Jais experience starts with a 30km snaking drive to the top, a scenic experience for all drivers which is easily accessible by cars of all makes and models. Drive to the specified parking as indicated on your reservation confirmation. Upon arrival, you will see an Information Center, where a host will confirm the details of your reservation and will then take you to the Jebel Jais Adventure Center via a shuttle service.

Meeting Time
You must arrive at the parking area 30 minutes before the time of your experience, as any delays will impact your experience. If you are delayed and miss the shuttle, this will be considered a ‘’No Show’’ and you will forfeit 100% of your payment in line with the Terms and Conditions.


What is the Jais Ropes Course?

The Jais Ropes Course is a self-guided rope course where you will navigate different obstacles located 10 meters above the ground. The course is split into two levels; the first level is at a lower height and includes easy challenges that are suitable for children aged 6 years and above. The second level is 10 meters above the ground, and features slightly more challenging obstacles that teenagers and adults can enjoy.

Who can participate?

– Minimum age: 6 years
– Maximum weight (kg): 120kg
– Minimum height (cms): 125cm
– Children under 10 years old and under the height of 140cm must be accompanied by an adult and will need to wear a full-body harness. Participants under the age of 18 who meet the height and weight requirements can enjoy the activity on their own, but will need to be accompanied by and present a signed waiver by a parent or legal guardian in order to do so.

How many people will be on the course at one time?

To guarantee the utmost safety of everyone, each course will have a maximum 15 participants at one time. 

What is the duration of the course?

The entire experience will take 1 hour. 

Is the activity safe? 

Safety of our participants is our highest priority. All participants will be harnessed and hooked to a safety line at all times through the experience.

Can parents monitor their children while they are doing the experience?  

Yes, parents can observe their children from outside the obstacle maze. Or, join your kids and enjoy the maze together! 

What should I wear for the experience?  

– Wear typical athletic clothing.
– During the winter months, bring a jacket as the mountain weather can be cold and windy. 
– Wear sturdy trainers or running shoes with good grip. 
– Use sunblock at all times.
